A Golem, in Jewish lore, is a humanoid automaton made of clay and brought to its peculiar life by the incantation of Cabalistic formulas.
The word 'meloG' written in Hebrew (upper section of painting) is read right to left. My interest in the process of painting (art) suggests a golem-like life in the studio where mere colored shapes often evoke both emotional and physiological reactions.
