My use of details, replicated and magnified, from an 'original' painting I've made from 'life', reiterates the artist's process; looking, choosing, rendering.
The shaped (rather than standard framing) curved forms, surrounding the rectangular landscape panels, intend to create an optical 'environment' specific to each composition emphasizing the squareness of the rectangles.
